About the position

The Brand Journalist internship at Sentry provides students with a valuable opportunity to gain real work experience in a professional corporate setting. Interns will work closely with a mentor to understand the role of brand journalists and their impact on the company's success. This internship includes networking opportunities through social events and interactions with company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit articles, blog posts, sales and internal communications that align with our brand voice.
• Assist in researching and developing content for various platforms, including website and social media.
• Interview internal and external stakeholders for feature stories.
• Collaborate with the PR, marketing, and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Conduct research to support story development and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in creating multimedia content to complement written stories.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate or associate degree in Communications, Journalism, English or a related field.
• Obtain a minimum in-major GPA of 3.00.
• Expected graduation of May 2026- May 2027.
