About the position

The Brand Manager, Fine Wine at Trinchero Family Estates will be responsible for developing and executing annual brand plans for the Heritage Collection fine wine portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with sales teams, internal colleagues, and brand partners to drive brand education, storytelling, and strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for fine wine, capable of managing budgets, overseeing P&Ls, and contributing to demand planning.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and execution of annual brand plans for assigned brands including strategic sales and marketing initiatives, budget planning, and promotions.
  • Engage in regular business analysis to provide informed input to/from sales and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Liaise with winemaking on vintage specifics, wine style, competitive set research, and long-term planning.
  • Create and deliver impactful brand and portfolio presentations to sales, senior management, and trade.
  • Develop effective selling tools to support brand success, including copywriting and design oversight.
  • Conduct strategic pricing, positioning, and competitive set analysis with an understanding of profitability metrics.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including budget and P&L management.
  • Manage partner relationships and bridge company and partner needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with DTC/E-commerce teams to ensure brand cohesion and strategy alignment.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree, preferably in business and/or marketing.
  • 2 years of fine wine marketing experience, ideally in brand management.
  • Passion for fine wine and a desire to expand knowledge.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to forge relationships across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity in reaching conclusions based on fact and intuition.
  • Strength in a collaborative, team-supportive environment.
  • Strong presentation skills to present to management and large groups confidently.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, etc.).
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and work occasional night/weekend events.
