About the position

The Brand Manager Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in shaping the marketing strategy and providing comprehensive marketing support for T.D. Jakes Ministries and The Potter's House brand. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned marketing projects, ensuring that they are executed effectively and efficiently. The Brand Manager will engage in project management, brand development, and market research, utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making and strategy development. In this role, the Brand Manager will execute and analyze various marketing projects and brand development initiatives, ensuring that all creative collateral and assets are proofread and edited to meet high standards. The position requires active participation in the creative brainstorming process for project and conference planning, as well as managing the content, planning, scheduling, and tracking of each project. The Brand Manager will provide key insights and direction to leverage the success of assigned brands and ministries, focusing on content development plans, strategy, and project timelines. Regular meetings with assigned ministries and departments will be necessary for project implementation and consultation. The Brand Manager will also be expected to provide weekly updates and status reports on assigned projects to the Executive Marketing Officer (EMO) and/or Brand Manager. A working knowledge of project management systems is essential to assist with tracking and managing the team's project load, status, workflow, and deadlines. This position requires a proactive approach to marketing strategy, ensuring that all prerequisites and requirements are assessed and evaluated to develop effective strategies from ideation to project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage every aspect of assigned marketing projects and track status.
  • Engage in project management and brand development.
  • Conduct AI and market research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting for marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and plan content for various marketing projects.
  • Execute and analyze assigned marketing projects and brand development initiatives.
  • Proofread and edit creative collateral and assets.
  • Participate in the creative brainstorming process for project and conference planning.
  • Manage content, planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting for assigned ministries and departments.
  • Provide insight and support for brand development initiatives.
  • Assess marketing prerequisites and develop strategies from ideation to completion.
  • Meet with assigned ministries/departments for project implementation and consultation.
  • Utilize project management systems for tracking and managing project loads and deadlines.
  • Provide weekly updates and status reports on projects to EMO and/or Brand Manager.
  • Participate in team and corporate meetings as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in brand management or marketing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with creative development and graphic production processes.
  • Previous experience in marketing, digital marketing, and/or advertising.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of social media and digital creative strategies.
  • Experience in public relations and internal communications.
  • Ability to conduct interviews and write content summaries.
