Our 114,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries. The position of Brand Manager – Pedialyte Delivery Marketing is based in Columbus, OH, within the Nutrition Division. This role is responsible for driving demand in the HCP and Sports channels, setting and executing strategies, managing budgets, and forecasting results. The Pedialyte Brand Manager will lead marketing efforts, develop business plans, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HCP Marketing for Pedialyte brand including strategy, developing field sales and patient aids and kits, and sampling and coupon execution in partnership with HCP Sales and HCP Marketing.
  • Lead Sports Strategy defining the role of sports/exercise for the Pedialyte brand, developing go-to market plan to drive sales and relevancy in the sports space.
  • Forecast and measure impact of HCP and Sports channels to understand impact to business and optimize plans for future.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial Analytics on LBE process to develop consumption forecast with ownership of media and trade forecast modeling.
  • Participate in the development of business plans, identify areas of concern, and modify marketing programs to address changes in the marketplace.
  • Assess potential market expansion opportunities such as new distribution channels as well as competitive threats.
  • Present brand and marketing programs to Sr. Management inclusive of strategy, execution and measurement plan.
  • Manage budget monthly with direct input to forecast models and financial decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of brand management or marketing experience.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare or food and beverage industry.
  • Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • An ability to think strategically and develop annual plans and financial commitments.
  • An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to changing customer needs.
  • Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas; Intellectual curiosity.
  • The ability to manage and allocate budgets.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with and an understanding of market research and data.
  • Sales experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.

  • Knowledge of media planning and buying a plus.
