About the position

The Brand Manager at Paragon Staffing, LLC is responsible for developing and executing strategies that resonate with consumers and retailers. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, making data-driven decisions, and managing the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. The Brand Manager will collaborate with various teams to create compelling marketing plans and ensure successful product launches, all while representing the voice of the consumer within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute compelling and profitable brand plans that meet or exceed sales, gross margin, and EBIT targets.
  • Develop and maintain the product portfolio, managing products through their life cycle from new product launch to discontinuation.
  • Lead cross-functional innovation teams to successfully navigate projects through the stage gate process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, building relationships to drive efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and development of comprehensive launch plans for all new products and line extensions, including customer presentations and marketing support.
  • Work with sales to develop compelling customer programming, participating in joint-business planning sessions.
  • Partner with internal creative and digital teams to develop insight-driven content that increases consumer purchases.
  • Represent the voice of the consumer to the organization, being an expert in the category and competition.
  • Facilitate marketing decisions by analyzing category trends and insights, including syndicated scan data and competitive landscape.
  • Leverage data to problem solve and find optimal solutions for various scenarios.
  • Develop pricing strategies for new and existing products to meet category margin goals.
  • Balance priorities and objectives across the portfolio and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree (MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of brand marketing experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and a consumer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix and experience in identifying target audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
