About the position

The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that resonate with consumers and retailers, leveraging insights and superior product offerings. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, making data-driven decisions, and ensuring the successful launch and management of products throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute compelling and profitable brand plans that meet or exceed sales, gross margin and EBIT targets.
  • Develop and maintain the product portfolio, managing products through their life cycle from new product launch to discontinuation.
  • Lead Cross functional innovation team to successfully navigate projects through the stage gate process.
  • Provide leadership and development of comprehensive launch plans for all new products and line extensions, including customer presentations and marketing support.
  • Work with sales to develop compelling customer programming, participating in joint-business planning sessions.
  • Partner with internal creative and digital teams to develop insight-driven content that increases consumer purchases on shelf and via Ecomm/Omnichannel.
  • Represent the voice of the consumer to the organization, being an expert in the category and competition.
  • Facilitate marketing decisions by analyzing and reporting on category trends, syndicated scan data, competitive landscape, market share, pricing action, and advertising.
  • Leverage data to problem solve and find optimal solutions in various scenarios.
  • Develop Pricing Strategy for new and existing products to meet category margin goals.
  • Balance priorities and objectives across the portfolio and projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on urgent opportunities.

Requirements

  • College Degree (BA/BS) required; graduate degree (MBA) a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years brand marketing experience.
  • Experience in leading new product innovation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency on all MS Office applications, advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
