About the position

The Manager of Marketing Activation at MGM Resorts is responsible for implementing brand strategies and executing marketing activations throughout the property. This role involves project management of marketing campaigns, collaboration with various teams, and ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy to enhance guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage both planned and ad-hoc marketing campaigns on-property, overseeing day-to-day campaign development.
  • Partner with central marketing teams to create and deliver necessary creative materials for on-property activations.
  • Work alongside the Entertainment and Events teams to manage on-property activations, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy.
  • Prepare key materials for the Director in advance of meetings with property vertical leaders and Corporate.
  • Conduct weekly audits of website and third-party content, compiling necessary updates from key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, Events, Media, or related field within Hospitality and Gaming.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering complex programs and projects with positive, measurable results.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to multi-task large-scale marketing initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write a marketing plan that communicates high-level strategy and actionable tactics.
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Work, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree Preferred.
  • One (1) year of previous guest services experience in the slot department of a similar resort setting.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
