About the position

The Brand Marketing Manager at Sweet Protection will be responsible for developing and executing the brand strategy in North America, focusing on the ski, snowboard, and bike markets. This role involves building consumer relationships, creating localized marketing plans, and driving brand awareness through partnerships with athletes and influencers. The manager will collaborate with sales and e-commerce teams to enhance brand visibility and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Igniting and driving the Sweet Protection brand strategy in North America.
  • Creating and executing localized marketing plans that align with global goals.
  • Building strong partnerships with athletes, influencers, and key accounts.
  • Driving PR impact by managing agency relationships and securing media coverage.
  • Collaborating with sales and e-commerce to elevate brand visibility through digital marketing and impactful campaigns.
  • Managing the North American marketing budget with a focus on maximizing ROI.
  • Engaging with consumers and industry partners at events, with travel up to 40%.
  • Communicating consumer insights to shape global and North American strategies.
  • Championing the Sweet Protection mission as a brand ambassador.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing in the outdoor sports industry.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Solid understanding of retail marketing and digital strategies.
  • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with sales and e-commerce teams.
  • Experience managing budgets and driving ROI using data.
  • Self-directed and strategic thinker capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Clear and confident communicator.
