About the position

The Brand Marketing Manager at Away is responsible for supporting the Director of Brand Marketing in shaping the brand's vision and strategy to enhance consumer awareness and affinity. This role involves coordinating marketing efforts, managing the marketing calendar, and ensuring effective communication across teams to optimize brand execution and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director and VP of Brand in shaping the brand marketing vision and strategy.
  • Craft and present creative briefs leveraging insights from various teams.
  • Lead daily marketing responsibilities including maintaining the marketing calendar and communicating milestones.
  • Own the product marketing function, developing product claims and storytelling angles.
  • Capture and distill cross-functional communication and feedback during planning and execution.
  • Champion Away's brand standards across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Assist in monitoring in-flight campaign performance and action optimization opportunities.
  • Lead post-campaign reporting, creating scorecards and KPI reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in brand marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop ideas into actionable plans.
  • Consumer-first mindset with an understanding of market and cultural trends.
  • Team-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel, and Slack.
  • Creative and innovative with a passion for building unique brand experiences.
  • Process-oriented and organized.
