About the position

The Brand Marketing Manager at JARS Cannabis is responsible for leading the marketing strategies for the company's vertically integrated brand portfolio. This role focuses on developing innovative marketing initiatives, supporting sales for wholesale brands, and coaching a team to achieve industry-leading performance. The position emphasizes collaboration across various departments to create effective brand programs and ensure successful product launches.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop and manage account programming in collaboration with sales and other marketing teams.
• Lead regional product launches, innovation and campaigns, ensuring cross-functional support.
• Leverage all parts of the marketing mix to create effective brand programs, including advertising, trade, digital, promotional, and events.
• Hire, manage and onboard specialists, focusing on development and coaching.
• Project management for marketing initiatives that build brand awareness and support trade.
• Work with 3rd Party Vendors to curate and support brand swag, education, merchandising, and collateral.
• Collaborate with creative, sales, and operations to build strong brand marketing plans.
• Identify market opportunities that align with the brand portfolio.
• Stay updated with cannabis regulations, policies, and trends to ensure marketing program feasibility and success.
• Create measurable goals and objectives for all brand marketing initiatives and evaluate ROI.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in a similar role.
• Exceptional knowledge of the cannabis industry.
• Success in collaborative and innovative environments.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
