About the position

The Brand Marketing Manager at Away will play a crucial role in shaping the brand's marketing vision and strategy, focusing on increasing brand awareness and consumer affinity. This position involves coordinating the marketing calendar, leading product marketing efforts, and ensuring alignment across various teams to optimize the consumer experience. The ideal candidate will combine innovative thinking with practical execution to enhance Away's brand presence in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director and VP of Brand in shaping the brand marketing vision and strategy.
  • Craft and present creative briefs leveraging internal and cultural insights.
  • Lead daily marketing responsibilities, including maintaining the marketing calendar and communicating major milestones.
  • Own the product marketing function, developing product claims and storytelling angles.
  • Capture and distill cross-functional communication and feedback during planning and execution.
  • Champion Away's brand standards across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Assist in monitoring in-flight campaign performance and action optimization opportunities.
  • Lead post-campaign reporting, creating scorecards and KPI reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop ideas into actions that drive business results.
  • Consumer-first mindset with a deep understanding of market and cultural trends.
