About the position

The Brand Marketing Manager for Canopy Lawn Care will serve as the marketing leader for the franchise brand, playing a pivotal role in guiding franchisees through the development and execution of their marketing strategies. This position is designed for a highly consultative individual who possesses a strong background in marketing strategy and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. The Brand Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with franchisees at all stages of their business, providing essential training and ongoing support to ensure the effective implementation of marketing plans. In this role, the Brand Marketing Manager will be a key member of the marketing team, working alongside digital marketing specialists, creative teams, and brand leadership to drive the overall marketing strategy for Canopy Lawn Care. This includes the management and development of training materials, sales and marketing assets, and tools that will benefit both the franchise systems and the brand team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess excellent presentation skills, and be able to engage an audience effectively, delivering messages with confidence and clarity. With a minimum of four years of marketing industry experience required, the Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and tracking marketing initiatives that align with the brand's objectives. This includes analyzing marketing data to identify opportunities, providing feedback and recommendations to franchisees, and ensuring that marketing strategies are implemented effectively across the franchise systems. The role also involves delivering training to new franchisees, managing creative asset development, and overseeing technology solutions that assist franchisees in their local marketing efforts. Overall, this position is crucial for the success of the Canopy Lawn Care brand, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and track marketing initiatives to accomplish the brand's objectives
  • Analyze marketing data, identify and assess marketing opportunities and advise on the best marketing strategies to accomplish business objectives
  • Evaluate local marketing efforts, consult and collaborate with the franchisees and members of the marketing team to provide the best feedback and recommendations
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to ensure the recommended marketing and advertising strategies and tactics are implemented across the franchise systems
  • Analyze and report on aggregated system-wide data about marketing efforts
  • Deliver in-person new franchisee training and ongoing virtual training
  • Manage and pursue new third-party suppliers to meet goals and objectives of the marketing department and the franchise system
  • Manage the development of creative assets both internally and externally for the brand
  • Manage technology solutions that assist franchisees with the implementation of local marketing and advertising efforts
  • Play a key role in the development and implementation of a national marketing plan

Requirements

  • 4 years' experience in Marketing field with knowledge of online and offline tactics
  • Previous experience analyzing digital marketing campaigns, including pay-per-click and Meta
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Microsoft office and Adobe products knowledge and proficiency
  • Adept at learning new technology and marketing platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work both independently as well as within a team environment
