MoneyLion is seeking a Brand Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in building brand awareness and driving growth through impactful brand-building campaigns, activations, and strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the Brand Director, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and elevate MoneyLion's brand presence in the market. This role is located on-site 4 days a week at our headquarters in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement brand marketing strategies that align with MoneyLion's mission and drive business objectives.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Oversee brand marketing campaigns, ensuring strategic alignment and effective execution.
  • Manage and update the integrated brand marketing calendar, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure it is consistently filled with key initiatives and campaigns.
  • Bring brand partnerships to life, collaborating with partners to maximize brand impact and reach.
  • Work closely with product, social, and content teams to ensure successful campaign launches, supported by cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Track and analyze brand performance metrics and campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
  • Handle administrative tasks including business planning, quarterly OKR planning, and weekly business reviews for the brand team.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, ensuring projects are on track and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform and adapt marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of brand marketing initiatives, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure all brand communications are engaging, on-brand, and effectively convey MoneyLion's value proposition.
  • Act as a brand steward, maintaining professionalism and upholding MoneyLion's values.
  • Oversee the branded merchandise and swag program, ensuring it effectively supports our brand initiatives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 - 5+ years of real-world experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record of developing, launching, and scaling brand initiatives, preferably within the financial services or tech industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, seamlessly transitioning from high-level strategic planning to hands-on execution.
  • Proven track record of delivering business outcomes through innovative brand campaigns and activations while meeting customer expectations.
  • Ambitious and hard-working, with a strong passion for brand building and creating impactful brand experiences.
  • Experience in managing brand partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Highly creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to drive compelling brand narratives and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage data to inform and enhance brand marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of modern marketing principles, user experience, and analytics, with experience in managing multiple stakeholder expectations in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of influencing across functions and driving conversations with senior leaders.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, and a results-oriented mentality, equipped with a test-and-learn approach to continuously optimize and refine marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across various departments, integrating feedback from diverse teams to drive cohesive and aligned marketing initiatives.
