This position is responsible for crafting annual brand marketing plans, analyzing market trends, and overseeing the allocation of the marketing budget. The Brand Marketing Manager will also orchestrate cross-functional promotional strategies, playing a crucial role in spearheading marketing efforts for new product launches within the beauty and jewelry divisions. Additionally, the role involves identifying potential opportunities related to specific sales channels, product formats, and new product introductions. In this role, the Brand Marketing Manager will establish product marketing strategies that align with brand objectives and oversee the implementation of various programs and promotions. The manager will lead multiple cross-functional teams to execute product and category initiatives, ensuring that product and brand strategies are effectively communicated and understood across all groups. The position requires the development and support of strategic brand plans, leveraging consumer and customer trends, as well as a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to build brand equity through effective product strategies. The Brand Marketing Manager will also lead cross-functional collaboration on product and promotion strategies, working closely with training, business development, digital, and PR/social teams. This includes developing product messaging and ensuring consistent application across all communication channels. The manager will identify new marketing opportunities through market and competitive analysis, assist in driving the go-to-market strategy, and proactively seek ways to optimize content for maximum performance. Regular testing and data analysis will be performed to enhance online traffic growth and improve site features and user experience. The role also involves generating weekly marketing metric reports to assess success and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Establish product marketing strategy in alignment with brand objectives and oversee implementation of programs and promotions.
  • Manage and lead multiple cross-functional teams to execute product and category initiatives and implement plans.
  • Ensure product and brand strategies are communicated, understood, and implemented by all cross-functional groups.
  • Develop and support strategic brand plans leveraging consumer and customer trends and competitive landscape knowledge.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration on product and promotion strategy with training, business development, digital, and PR/social teams.
  • Lead product messaging and ensure consistent application across communication channels.
  • Develop strategy and marketing plans for category and pillar products to drive existing business.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities via promotions and programs through market and competitive analysis.
  • Assist in driving the go-to-market strategy to win and grow market share.
  • Perform testing and data analysis to optimize content for maximum performance.
  • Develop and schedule campaigns and provide performance metrics to identify improvements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and effectively improve site features and experience.
  • Conduct regular testing of email and website elements, document results, and share best practices.
  • Optimize online traffic growth from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other departments to create on-brand, best-in-class content tailored to appropriate customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in beauty sales, jewelry, retail sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Marketing experience including brand positioning, strategy development, consumer insight generation, direct to consumer advertising, consumer promotion, and integrated marketing communications development.
  • Demonstrated experience in brand management within the beauty and/or fashion industry.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing strategies, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and analytic tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the beauty and fashion industry including trends, key players, and customer preferences.
  • Proficient use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
