About the position

The Brand Marketing Specialist at HTI is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and managing the company's brand identity and voice. This position involves a comprehensive approach to marketing, focusing on the development and execution of strategies that align with the company's sales objectives. The specialist will oversee the distinct visual identity of HTI, ensuring that all marketing efforts resonate with the target audience and effectively communicate the brand's message. In this role, the Brand Marketing Specialist will be tasked with creating and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns designed to drive traffic and engagement across various platforms. This includes developing campaign calendars, setting measurable goals, identifying target audiences, and selecting the most effective channels and tactics to reach those audiences. The specialist will also play a crucial role in content creation, including social media posts, website and blog content, email marketing campaigns, and paid advertising initiatives. A significant aspect of the position involves copywriting, where the specialist will conduct keyword research, analyze data, and optimize content for SEO and SEM. The ability to analyze metrics to assess the performance of marketing content is essential, as is the collaboration with other marketing team members, sales teams, and operational groups to ensure that all campaigns align with the overall goals of the company. Staying current with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and marketing is also a key responsibility, as is identifying new marketing channels and opportunities to enhance brand awareness and drive sales. Additionally, the Brand Marketing Specialist will handle administrative tasks and project-based duties, which may include managing promotional inventory and vendor relationships. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and strong organizational abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns to drive traffic and engagement
  • Creating campaign calendars, setting goals, identifying target audiences, and determining the appropriate channels and tactics to reach those audiences
  • Aiding in the creation and implementation of social media content, website & blog content, email marketing campaigns, and paid advertising
  • Copywriting (keyword research, analysis, implementation & SEO/SEM optimization)
  • Analyzing data and metrics to assess the performance of content
  • Collaborating regularly with other marketing team members, sales team & operating groups to ensure campaigns align with overall company goals
  • Staying current with training and certifications as it relates to the creative process and graphic design and adapting as necessary to ensure maximum advertising effectiveness
  • Identifying and targeting new marketing channels and opportunities to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Administrative and other project-based duties as assigned (could include promotional inventory management and general functions that are HTI branded)
  • Vendor management

Requirements

  • Proficient display of abilities in creative process and graphic design
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of brand concepts and marketing/advertising best practices in both print and digital contexts
  • Understanding of the principles and strategies within content marketing
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to use proper grammar and punctuation in the composition of various marketing materials and reports
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Knowledge of and ability to use social media platforms
  • Ability to interact, communicate, influence and present ideas
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
  • Travel as necessary, including travel to all branch and onsite locations

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding and experience with Hubspot or other CRM preferred
  • Understanding and experience with Google advertising and Google Analytics a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML, PHP, JavaScript a plus
