About the position

You'll be part of our Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness & Enterprise Brand Strategy Retail marketing team. The Senior Manager of Brand Strategy & Activation is responsible for supporting a variety of initiatives to help to acquire new customers, increase engagement with existing customers, and drive enterprise value.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership and end-to-end accountability for projects from initiation through execution - write marketing brief, gain stakeholder alignment, brief internal & external creative agency partners, creative approval and implementation.
  • Supports creation, socialization, and adoption of our enterprise brand scorecard to measure brand health and progress.
  • Strong ability to flex critical thinking skills identifying/solving for business challenges and opportunities.
  • Ability to present an opportunity/recommendation in a clear, concise manner in Power Point.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure execution of performance marketing strategies.
  • Plan and oversee execution of key marketing tactics ensuring successful delivery and results.
  • Possess strong project management and organization skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives and moving parts; with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Leverage analytics to forecast and measure marketing channel performance, and support optimization to deliver desired results.
  • Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization and lead cross-functional team to ensure consistent communication and execution of strategy.
  • Work closely with Insights team to field customer research and apply learnings into actionable strategy.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for CVS.
  • Drives development of marketing plans rooted in consumer, competitor and company insights, leveraging results and insights to support recommendations on go-forward campaigns.
  • Act as an independent self-starter and anticipate requests to properly manage and execute projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of marketing, strategy and/or consulting experience with a strong analytical foundation, ideally in a Retail organization and possessing a solid understanding of Retail business dynamics.
