About the position

The Brand Videographer at Mammoth Mountain is responsible for creating and editing video content for various online platforms, focusing on the resort's target demographics. This role involves shooting promotional videos, live events, and interviews, while managing video distribution and optimization. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful mountain setting, combining work with the excitement of outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit video content for online distribution.
• Produce videos targeting families, young singles, couples, and action sports enthusiasts.
• Manage video content distribution and optimization.
• Create promotional and informational videos.
• Shoot live events and conduct interviews.
• Develop creative ideas that align with company initiatives.

Requirements

• High School graduate; degree in video/film production is helpful but not required.
• Experience in journalism, pitching, story-boarding, and post-production.
• Experience with lighting and rigging, with knowledge of a three-light setup.
• Familiarity with audio mixing and microphones.
• Proficient in Mac OS X operating system.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Lightroom, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong formatting and post-workflow knowledge (codecs & conversions).
• Ability to manage video projects from conception to completion.
• Comfortable and experienced in filmography and editing.
• Knowledge of various camera types including RED, GoPro, DJI, Sony, and DSLR.
• Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of cinematic vs. social media video styles.
• Ability to ski preferred over snowboard.
• Qualified drone operator with part 107 certification.
