As a Branded Content Editor, you will develop innovative content campaigns utilizing a variety of formats, including unique columnists, infographics, podcast episodes, and original studies and surveys. You will liaise with sales, design, product, and tech teams to produce top-notch content that satisfies client needs and captures reader interest. Additionally, you will work with the content team and other departments to create a robust content calendar that aligns with client interests, industry trends, and holidays. Your responsibilities will include assigning, editing, and publishing an average of 25-40 pieces of content weekly to support branded content initiatives, creating posts in the content management system, and updating tracking systems with relevant information. You will also own the social media strategy for clients, sponsors, and sales to maximize content reach and engagement. Creating detailed briefs for freelancers to prepare for assignments, quickly handling updates and edits to content based on internal and client feedback, and supporting the editorial team while collaborating with the wider content team as needed will be essential parts of your role.
