Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our clients' messages are effectively communicated and delivered through engaging and memorable experiences - serving both consumer and industry attendees. In this position, you will lead end-to-end event management, which includes overarching strategy, budgeting, timeline creation, venue selection, vendor management, logistics coordination, guest experience, and on-site supervision. You will ensure that all elements of the event are delivered flawlessly, within budget, and on schedule. Collaboration is key, as you will work with marketing and creative teams, sellers, editors, and other stakeholders to develop event concepts, themes, and messaging that align with clients' brand identities and advertising campaigns. You will also be responsible for tentpole concepting and development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ideate, develop, and produce significant events for brands such as Marie Claire and Who What Wear. Vendor management will be a critical aspect of your role, as you will source, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring quality control throughout the event planning process. Client management is another vital component of your role, as you will work with sales, integrated marketing, and client solutions teams to ensure effective and positive communication with advertising clients. You will also identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, conducting thorough risk assessments for venues, activities, and logistics to ensure the safety of attendees and compliance with regulations. Finally, you will analyze event success metrics, attendee feedback, and social and editorial coverage, providing post-event reports that identify areas of improvement and opportunities for future events.
