About the position

The Breakfast Host at Hampton Inn is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for guests during the morning breakfast service. This role involves setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar, ensuring cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests.
• Interact with guests and answer questions regarding their dining experience.
• Set up and maintain the hot breakfast and breakfast bar according to hotel franchise guidelines.
• Replenish and restock breakfast items to prepare for the next day.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the shift, adhering to health codes and quality assurance requirements.
• Monitor and replenish breakfast bar items to ensure variety for guests.
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards pertaining to food products.
• Perform other tasks as necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• High-school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months work-related experience in food and beverage, waitstaff/server, or banquet experience (preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry (preferred).
• Previous experience as Server or Waitstaff (preferred).
• Flexibility to work varied schedules.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to listen attentively.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Adherence to grooming and appearance standards.
