About the position
The Breakfast Attendant at Gulph Creek Hotels is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service of food and beverages to guests, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. This role involves maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area, completing side-work, and preparing for the next day's service while adhering to hotel standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient service of food and beverages to guests.
- Maintain guest service as the driving philosophy of the operation.
- Respond promptly to guests' needs and ensure their satisfaction.
- Complete all side-work and cleaning duties as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Have full knowledge of all food items served.
- Keep front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) breakfast areas clean and organized.
- Wash all dishes and complete prep work for the next day.
- Maintain inventory of all items within the breakfast area.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling.
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, guests, and supervisors.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions.
