About the position

The Breakfast Attendant at Towneplace Suites Liverpool/Clay is responsible for providing guests with a warm and welcoming breakfast experience. This role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area, and ensuring guest satisfaction through friendly service. The position is available for both part-time and full-time schedules, with a focus on delivering high-quality service during breakfast hours.

Responsibilities

• Properly prepare the Towneplace hot and healthy breakfast during assigned hours.
• Maintain a clean and efficient breakfast area.
• Greet guests warmly and assist them with their needs.
• Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly manner.
• Complete required food safety training once hired.
• Follow safety procedures while using food preparation tools and appliances.
• Clean and wipe chairs, tables, and the breakfast area.
• Receive food orders and store them following FIFO guidelines.
• Keep accurate food and temperature records as trained.
• Sweep, vacuum, or mop floors in the breakfast area and lobby.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to move luggage, packages, or furniture weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
