About the position

We are seeking a Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our growing team in Central California. This role focuses on providing patient-centered care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive treatment for patients with breast disease.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced knowledge and surgical skills to treat patients with breast disease.
• Provide passionate and patient-centered care, ensuring that patients and their families are well-informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in breast surgical oncology, bringing new approaches and technology to the practice and community when appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and the community regarding breast cancer prevention, screening, and treatment options.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board certification in Surgery and Surgical Oncology.
• Completed fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology.
• California medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• At least 1 year of experience in the field as a team-oriented breast surgeon.
