About the position

The Brewery Reliability Engineer at Anheuser-Busch will lead and develop relationships with utility operators and maintenance teams while overseeing the Brewery's Utilities plans. This role involves attending department meetings, creating and executing action plans to meet critical metrics, and influencing change within the organization. The position is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of utility operations in a fast-paced brewery environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead powerhouse process work group, coordinating operation and maintenance of utilities including high pressure steam boilers and refrigeration systems.
  • Track and report on Energy and Fluids usage and cost performance, initiating processes to control costs.
  • Utilize standard management tools to achieve KPI targets and close performance gaps through root cause analysis and other methodologies.
  • Analyze Energy and Fluid KPI/PI data to identify usage trends and develop performance improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise to utility operators, technicians, and project teams.
  • Troubleshoot reliability issues on utilities equipment and perform root cause analysis.
  • Assist with project conceptualization and scoping for various initiatives.
  • Manage regulatory Title 5 compliance for powerhouse operations.
  • Experience with condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
  • Experience with process safety management.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering preferred, technical degree required.
  • Experience in Utilities preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and team orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning skills for handling multiple projects.
  • Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Mechanically or electrically inclined to understand the utilities process.
