About the position

The Bridal Stylist at David's Bridal is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive shopping experience for all customers. This role involves achieving sales goals through a structured selling process, managing customer appointments, and promoting alterations and personalization services. The Stylist acts as a brand ambassador, embodying the values of David's Bridal while ensuring a high standard of store presentation and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm and provide 5-Star Customer Service.
  • Manage customer flow and appointments using store systems and tools.
  • Prepare fitting rooms and customer profiles for appointments.
  • Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Promote alterations services and assist in setting up appointments with Alterations Specialists.
  • Maintain store standards for cleanliness and organization.
  • Support the store team in achieving sales and operational goals.
  • Accurately process transactions and promote additional services and products.
  • Complete required training and share knowledge with fellow stylists.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or service environment preferred.
  • Experience with computerized POS systems is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales is a plus.
