About the position

The Bridge Design Staff Engineer I is an entry-level position at HRG, focused on designing and analyzing various structures such as bridges, buildings, and retaining walls. The role involves performing NBIS Bridge Inspections and contributing to the maintenance, repair, or replacement of structures. Responsibilities

• Designing and analyzing various structures, including bridges, buildings, and retaining walls.
• Performing NBIS Bridge Inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Transportation/Structures emphasis.
• Engineer in Training certification or in pursuit of obtaining certification.
• 1+ years of experience in bridge design and/or bridge inspection.
• NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of PENNDOT design procedures.
• Working familiarity with Microstation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and various structural software programs.
• Strong skills in communication, planning, and organization.
• Flexibility for occasional travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Valid U.S. driver's license is required).
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
