Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of bridge structures using relevant software.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and evaluations of existing bridge structures to assess condition and compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare engineering reports, design documents, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Support project management activities, including scheduling, cost estimation, and quantity estimation.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to bridge engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT Certificate or proof of passing NCEES FE exam.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bridge engineering or structural design.
  • Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, AISC, ACI, ASCE 7).
  • Proficiency in engineering drafting (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCad, or similar).
  • Proficiency in engineering calculation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, MathCad, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
