About the position
The Caregiver position at Touching Hearts at Home involves providing essential support and companionship to clients in their homes. This role is part-time and offers flexible scheduling, including weekday and weekend shifts. Caregivers will assist with daily living activities, ensuring clients receive the care and attention they need in a compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversation to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Prepare meals for clients
- Remind clients to take their medications
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to medical appointments
Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Current certification as CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP, or willingness to train
- Valid driver's license and vehicle with insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
