About the position
The Broadcast Media Buyer at Advisors Excel is responsible for guiding clients through the media buying process, negotiating and securing media buys for radio and TV programming. This role requires a detail-oriented negotiator who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, turning research into actionable strategies that deliver results. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with media onboarding and guide them through the media buying process
- Secure media schedules for radio and TV programming with markets across the country
- Explore media markets nationwide to uncover the most effective placements
- Provide extraordinary customer service to ensure our clients' success
- Collect, summarize, and present research findings to support buying decisions
Requirements
- Proven experience managing projects with precision and meeting deadlines
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Professional, articulate, and persuasive in both written and verbal communications
- Thrive working solo while collaborating seamlessly with a team
- 2+ years in a media buying or sales position
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel software
