The Broker Relations and Service Manager will play a crucial role in managing the service and onboarding processes for our broker dealer partners. This position requires a motivated individual who can operate autonomously within a supportive structure designed for success. The role demands high self-motivation, organization, and discipline, as it involves maintaining and developing relationships with broker dealer contacts, managing inquiries, and overseeing the onboarding pipeline using Salesforce CRM. The successful candidate will also be responsible for commercial contract management and engaging in discussions with broker partners to enhance service delivery. This position reports to the Global Head of Broker Partnerships and is integral to the growth and success of FlexTrade. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services landscape, particularly in relation to buy-side clients, and will be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and collaboration with the client account management team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the broker onboarding pipeline in Salesforce CRM
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contacts in the broker dealer community
  • Respond to and manage broker inquiries and requests for support during the onboarding process and beyond
  • Manage the commercial contract creation and distribution for the broker community
  • Coordinate and engage in commercial discussions with broker partners as needed
  • Work with the client account management team to understand client needs and priorities in relation to broker partners
  • Champion the FlexTrade value proposition to brokers and seek further adoption and value from FlexTrade
  • Gain a deep understanding of FlexTrade Buy Side offerings and demands from the Client Services group

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with financial software or services to buy side clients
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation, communication, and phone skills
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative to address issues and develop opportunities for improvement
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt and prioritize self-sufficiently
  • Knowledge of major buy side EMS and OMS platforms, competitors, and functionality is a plus
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
