About the position

The Brokerage Sales Specialist at TLD Logistics is responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring efficient shipment processes. This role involves working closely with customers, carriers, and logistical partners to provide exceptional service throughout the shipment lifecycle. The position offers a base salary plus commission, promoting a financially rewarding career in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a book of business and developing new customer relationships.
  • Functioning as the intermediary between customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
  • Establishing partnerships with customers by providing first-class customer service.
  • Ensuring the movement of customer goods is efficient and accurate from beginning to end.
  • Collaborating with a team of Solutions Specialists on freight market rating, carrier management, and customer relations.
  • Staying up to date with current market conditions and technology.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of previous B2B sales related and customer service experience.
  • 1 to 2 years of previous logistics and supply chain experience.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Determined, communicative, and goal-oriented personality and mindset.
  • Strong email, phone, and face-to-face communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior B2B Sales or Logistics experience is preferred.
