About the position

KindaJobs is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our innovative AI-powered platform that connects users with local professionals. The role involves building and implementing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that leverages GPT-4's natural language processing capabilities to facilitate seamless interactions between job posters and professionals. The developer will play a crucial role in creating a dynamic, real-time system that allows for free-form job postings and professional profiles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust backend infrastructure to support free-form job postings and professional profiles using GPT-4 NLP capabilities.
• Design, implement, and test a matching algorithm that connects job posts with professionals using GPT-4.
• Integrate ranking logic into the matching system to prioritize relevant professionals based on factors such as relevance, location, availability, and ratings.
• Build intuitive front-end forms for users to submit job postings leveraging GPT-4 to dynamically assist in generating content.
• Implement and manage secure payment systems, ensuring pros can set budgets and daily spending limits for leads.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and optimize for performance across devices.
• Ensure scalability of the MVP for future growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full stack development (front-end and back-end), preferably with experience building matching platforms or job marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of GPT-4 or other NLP systems and how to integrate them into a platform.
• Experience with AI/ML APIs such as OpenAI's GPT-4 or similar.
• Familiarity with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and backend services (AWS, Firebase, etc.).
• Understanding of mobile-first design principles and responsive web development.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations and secure financial transactions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with GPT-4 API.
• Previous experience in building job or task marketplaces.
• Knowledge of ranking algorithms and semantic search.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
