About the position

The Brow Waxing Expert at Ulta Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales of the Benefit brand by engaging with guests to understand their needs, assisting them in selecting products, and performing short beauty services such as eyebrow and facial waxing. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service, product knowledge, and compliance with operational standards, contributing to the overall success of the store and the brand.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales in the Benefit brand by engaging guests and assisting in product selection.
• Perform short services at the Brow Bar, including eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, and tinting.
• Ensure exceptional guest service by personalizing interactions and recommending products.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and an active clientele portfolio for Benefit brand services.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales performance.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards in the Brow Bar and other assigned areas.
• Communicate supply needs to management to ensure guest readiness.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Valid cosmetology or esthetics license as required by state law.
• Experience in makeup application and eyebrow/facial waxing preferred.
• Proficiency with equipment needed for technical work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle guest concerns.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales and customer service in a beauty environment.
• Knowledge of current beauty trends and products.
