About the position

The Brow Waxing Expert at Ulta Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales of the Benefit brand by engaging with guests to understand their needs, assisting them in selecting products, and performing short beauty services such as eyebrow and facial waxing. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service, product knowledge, and compliance with operational standards, contributing to the overall success of the store and the brand.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed Benefit brand sales and service goals.
• Engage every guest, personalizing service to their needs and recommending complementary products.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Conduct short services at the Brow Bar, including eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, and tinting.
• Book appointments for services and events using the appointment system.
• Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and contribute to an inclusive environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to drive sales performance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and an active clientele portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Esthetician or Cosmetology License as required by law.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in makeup application and eyebrow/facial waxing preferred.
• Proficiency with equipment needed for technical work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle guest concerns.
