About the position

The BSA AML Analyst position at First Financial Bank is a full-time role focused on supporting the BSA AML Department. The analyst will perform various tasks directed by the Senior BSA AML Officer, including researching and working on BSA alerts, presenting cases, monitoring processes, and compiling statistics for reporting initiatives. The role requires a thorough understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, as well as adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a current understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, BSA AML industry best practices, and developing trends.
• Adhere to BSA AML Department Policy, Program, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Investigate suspicious activity alerts and cases.
• Conduct data collection, research, and analysis of BSA AML issues.
• Effectively present findings to the Senior BSA Officer, BSA Team, and BSA Committee.
• Perform detailed investigations and analysis for high-risk customers.
• Complete assigned tasks prior to the scheduled deadline.
• Perform other BSA AML duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of banking experience.
• College degree or experience in fields of business or criminology preferred.
• Prior experience in BSA AML and OFAC regulatory requirements is preferred.
• General understanding of BSA AML, USA PATRIOT Act, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and handle fast-paced workflows.
• Ability to understand and use Bank provided technology to meet job requirements.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of Bank staff, customers, and outside vendors.
