About the position

The Field Maintenance Engineer Program at Hologic is designed to provide entry-level candidates with a comprehensive blend of in-house training and hands-on experience in the healthcare industry. Participants will engage in classroom training and online coursework focused on X-Ray technology and Hologic equipment, followed by a six-month mentorship with an experienced Field Service Engineer. Upon completion, candidates will be equipped to perform installations and preventative maintenance on mammography equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and equipment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Attend classroom training and complete online coursework related to X-Ray technology and Hologic equipment.
• Shadow and learn from an experienced Field Service Engineer during the six-month training period.
• Perform equipment installations and preventative maintenance activities on Hologic mammography equipment.
• Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring proper functionality of Hologic equipment.
• Continue to gain knowledge and experience servicing other Hologic mammography products.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent electronics-based military training required; concentration in Biomed, Electronics or Electrical preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
