About the position

The position involves tracking all encumbered procurements and contracts for Appendix 1001 and 1004, from the issue of the purchase order (PO) to account payable (AP) and ensuring they are removed from the LMD encumbrance list. The role requires maintaining and updating a monthly status of encumbered procurements and contracts, obtaining invoices for CFMO, and ensuring compliance with LMD acquisition processes. The Budget Analyst will analyze payment vouchers and journal vouchers for accuracy, manage encumbered procurements, and attend LMD encumbrance scrubs. The position also includes managing cooperative agreements and assisting CFMO personnel with invoices and voucher processing.

Responsibilities

  • Track all encumbered procurements and contracts for Appendix 1001 and 1004.
  • Maintain and update a monthly status of encumbered procurements and contracts.
  • Obtain invoices for CFMO and receive in LaGov as Final or partial payment.
  • Identify discrepancies between recorded amounts and actual invoice amounts.
  • Analyze payment vouchers and journal vouchers for accuracy before submission.
  • Manage and track encumbered procurements and contracts with incorrect POs.
  • Attend LMD encumbrance scrubs and provide updates.
  • Manage Appendix 1001 and 1004 open cooperative agreements.
  • Complete yearly training required for compliance.
  • Assist CFMO personnel with invoices and voucher processing.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain CAC access and maintain access.
  • Experience or training on Microsoft applications (Excel, TEAMS, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License, Social Security Card, and Birth Certificate.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
