The Budget Analyst 1 at Olgoonik Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting the Foreign Affairs Training Center (FASTC) by performing essential accounting and budgetary activities. This position is primarily focused on specific staffing and training programs, where the analyst will be responsible for advising customers on financial matters, analyzing budgets, and compiling data for financial reports. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze financial data to project future revenues or expenses, ensuring that the organization remains financially sound and compliant with relevant regulations. In this position, the Budget Analyst will compute financial data and consult with managerial or supervisory personnel to provide insights and recommendations. The analyst will also assist in budget formulation, monitor the operational budget, and process invoices for payment. It is important to note that this role requires supervision, and the employee will have limited opportunities to exercise independent judgment and initiative in their work.   • Department of State experience preferred.
