About the position

The Budget Analyst 1 will play a critical role in the financial operations of LSU, focusing on position control, data analysis, and reporting. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage budgetary processes and support the overall financial health of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage both classified and unclassified positions, ensuring compliance with budgetary measures.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of the University's Annual Budget Request and Operating Budget.
• Prepare and submit reports, responding to surveys and questionnaires from external agencies, national organizations, and campus administrators.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or director to support the financial objectives of the institution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
