Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced Budget Analyst with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial and business analysis. This role is crucial for tracking and analyzing revenue and expenses by program at the fund source level on a monthly basis. The Budget Analyst will effectively utilize technological tools and platforms to enhance efficiency in their work functions. Regular communication with Program Directors and Supervisors is essential, as the analyst will analyze and implement processes for developing and monitoring program budgets. The position requires providing outstanding customer service in all agency interactions, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The Budget Analyst supports the management of the organization through timely and accurate financial tracking, reporting, and analysis. Responsibilities include assisting in tracking all financial transactions impacting the organization, preparing and monitoring financial forecasts to ensure expenditures remain within budget constraints, and accurately recording, classifying, and reconciling transactions by account. Additionally, the Budget Analyst will assist in fiscal operation management by developing and monitoring appropriate fiscal policies and implementing procedures that align with the program and agency budgetary needs. This individual is expected to show consistent initiative in all responsibilities, including problem-solving, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions while exercising effective time management skills. A strong commitment to personal and collective professional development is essential, and participation in continuing professional development opportunities is encouraged. The Budget Analyst is expected to conduct themselves as a role model in interactions with staff, colleagues, and funding sources, displaying consistent ethical behavior and respecting the confidentiality of clients and staff by adhering to the Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreement.
