About the position

The Budget Analyst at Union Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the highest quality of patient care through effective budgeting and financial reporting. This position is integral to maintaining statistical information, preparing financial statements, and assisting in the budgeting processes, all while contributing to the overall mission of providing compassionate service to the Wabash Valley Communities.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining statistical information for UHHG.
• Prepares statistical reports and assists in preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Assists in budgeting processes and preparing reports for Finance Committee and the Board.
• Reports UHHG information to IHA monthly, reports quarterly and annually to AHA.
• Assists the Finance Manager and Finance Supervisor as necessary.
• Maintains EPSi Cost accounting system up to date, loading GL information and running reports quarterly to assist management in decision making.

Requirements

• College degree required.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
• Accounting experience preferred.
