The Budget Analyst I position at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is responsible for managing budgetary functions for assigned funds within the Division of Social Services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with fiscal and operational policies of state government, including budgeting, accounting, and purchasing.
  • Experience interpreting and applying federal and state rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated direct experience with the North Carolina Financial System (NCFS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
