The College of Humanities and Sciences at the University of Montana is seeking a Budget Analyst II to manage the planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and fiscal management of the Mathematics and Psychology departments' budgets. This role is crucial in ensuring that the financial operations of these departments are conducted efficiently and effectively. The Budget Analyst II will be responsible for a variety of tasks including the accurate completion of personnel forms, data entry, payroll processing, and the creation of detailed financial reports. Additionally, the analyst will perform analysis and reconciliation of various funds including State, designated, auxiliary, and Foundation Funds. In this position, the Budget Analyst II will also be responsible for completing ProCard redistributions in a timely manner, entering procurement transactions in GrizMart, and managing travel-related documentation such as Request and Authorization to Travel (RATR) forms and Travel Expense Reports. The role will require entering scholarship budgets into the scholarship portal system, promoting the full disbursal of annual scholarship budgets, and reconciling these budgets at the end of each fiscal year. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial health of the departments and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
