The analyst will provide subject matter expertise in various budgeting areas, including contracts, payments, employee travel, purchasing, methods of finance verification, error corrections, and DDS operating expenses. In this role, the analyst will review changes in policies and procedures from the Social Security Administration (SSA) and HHS to assess their impact on the Disability Determination Services (DDS). As a primary backup for the DRM Manager, the analyst may supervise the work of others and perform additional duties as assigned to maintain efficient DDS operations. The position requires attendance during weekends and holidays as needed, and some travel may be required. Employees in this role will perform all business functions for SSA using the federal SSA network and equipment, necessitating a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 security clearance.
