This position plays a crucial role in monitoring the issuance, execution, and tracking of centralized CE program funds. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for preparing and tracking commitment and obligation documents, including Purchase Requests, Miscellaneous Obligation Document Records, Journal Vouchers, and other related financial documents. The role requires utilizing information from internal AFIMSC databases to provide reports to AFIMSC/RM staff, ensuring the verification or updating of execution plan data, spend plan data, unfunded requirements analysis, and compliance with 80/20 obligation mandates and end-of-year reporting requirements. In addition to tracking financial data, the Budget Analyst will support management in preparing reports for recurring AFIMSC meetings and quarterly Group, Board, and Council meetings. The position requires the ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods, and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Minimal travel (0-10%) is expected for this role, making it suitable for candidates looking for a stable work environment with limited travel requirements.
