Responsibilities

• Advise and perform work in any phase of budget administration.
• Analyze the budgetary impact of new or revised legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Develop budget processes, procedures, and guidance for executing financial management plans and programs.
• Coordinate and react to resources, funding, and programmatic changes.
• Determine the propriety and cost-effectiveness of funding requests.
• Participate in monitoring year-end closing to ensure proper use of provided funds.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Financial Management Level 2 certification required within 24 months of appointment.
• Specialized experience in analyzing program execution and utilizing financial databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GFEBS or similar financial systems.
• Knowledge of federal budget processes and regulations.
