Responsibilities

  • Provide budget analysis functions for an assigned activity.
  • Participate in the development of budget plans that meet customer needs.
  • Review financial program execution to ensure requirements are met.
  • Manage personnel within the financial organization to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop and present written and oral strategies for budget presentations, including quarterly management briefings and recommendations for adjustments.
  • Understand the headquarters mission and objectives to review, analyze, adjust, and approve budgetary requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Meet Financial Management Certification Level II requirements.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, including providing advice in budget development, analyzing estimates, monitoring budget execution, and utilizing Army Financial Management Systems.
