About the position

The Budget Analyst position at the Department of Defense involves active participation in the formulation of budget estimates and reporting for the Cyber Center. The role is responsible for the final documentation of assigned program segments for inclusion in the overall budget presentation to TRADOC and ensuring satisfactory execution of the program as presented to higher headquarters. The incumbent will prepare all portions of Installation Program Budget/Financial Management reports related to serviced activities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the formulation of Cyber Center budget estimates and reporting.
  • Prepare final documentation of assigned program segments for budget presentation to TRADOC.
  • Ensure satisfactory execution of the program as presented to higher headquarters.
  • Prepare all portions of Installation Program Budget/Financial Management reports for serviced activities.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Financial Management Level 2 Certified position.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in coordinating and answering requests for data pertaining to budget reports and presentations.
  • Ability to recommend changes to accommodate deviations relating to funds, manpower, and workload.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting multiple budget and financial management reports.
