About the position
The Senior Budget Analyst will lead a team responsible for managing program-related budget issues at Semper Valens Solutions. This role involves ensuring compliance with budgetary policies, developing and revising program budgets, and managing financial resources effectively. The position requires a strong analytical background to consolidate budget data and monitor financial transactions, ensuring timely billings and payments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the team leader for program-related budget issues.
- Implement the organization's budgetary program, policies, and procedures.
- Develop, formulate, and revise the program's budget.
- Estimate pay and benefits, travel, and other resource elements.
- Manage assigned program in accordance with funding limitations.
- Consolidate budget data estimates using statistical techniques such as extensions, averages, and trend analysis.
- Monitor and track billings and payments for the assigned program.
- Verify timely billings and payments, taking appropriate follow-up action.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting.
- Nine (9) years of experience within the last 15 years.
- Four additional years of relevant experience can substitute for the degree.
