About the position

The Senior Budget Analyst plays a crucial role in facilitating resource allocation and program investment decisions within the organization. This position involves providing financial modeling, analysis, and recommendations to senior management, specifically the Core Services Vice Presidents and Directors, as well as Administrators and Directors of assigned facilities. The analyst is responsible for preparing financial recommendations that support management decision-making aimed at improving the operating margins of hospitals. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in budget department applications and the ability to provide training and support to operational departments and other analysts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate resource allocation and program investment decisions.
• Provide financial modeling, analysis, and recommendations to management.
• Prepare financial recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Improve hospitals' operating margins through financial insights.
• Train and support operational and Core Services departments and other analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration (with a concentration in accounting or finance preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in financial management.
• Strong proficiency in applications that operate on mainframes, client servers, and PCs.
